Moor End Farm is surrounded by fields beyond which is open countryside and pretty little villages, where you can enjoy a first class meal in the local pubs. The Post Office is one and a half miles and the bus stop is half a mile away. The ancient city of Ripon is less than three miles away and offers ample shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants as well as a beautiful Cathedral and race course. Littlethorpe Potteries are half a mile away and the world heritage site Fountains Abbey and Deer Park is 5 miles distant.

It is 10 miles to the Spa town of Harrogate and 25 miles to the ancient city of York. The whole of the Dales, North Yorkshire Moors, Herriot, Emmerdale and even Bronte Country are within easy driving distance.
Also within reach are numerous ancient abbey's, stately homes and museums, theme parks and the Settle to Carlisle Railway.
